I made a bunch of layouts in EQ6 and like these 2 and can’t decide which one I like better. Which do you like – 1 or 2?
Now, to go and see if I have enuf of the lighter green fabric to make either version! If I don’t, I will have to have another plan.
The setting triangles on the FS present an upcoming decision – what do I want to quilt there? It’s a pretty big area. Flowers? Leaves on a vine? Geometric? Abstract? I’m sure the quilt will talk to me as I work on it. It happens every time! The quilt seems to know what it wants.

Pat, i much prefer number one. And may i just send a big "huzzah!" on that feathered-star. Wow!!!

Both settings look good, but I am slightly partial to #1. I like the movement they create!
So...how big is this ????
I have not attempted a Feathered Star, but it is such a lovely pattern. I am really glad you made this one so I can enjoy having seen it, but don't have to do one myself! LOL
Sunnie, the block measures 15" (Fin). I will be setting it on-point and that measures 21" (Fin). This will probably be the last Feathered Star I make ... too many pieces. Too many matchy points. I really appreciate the quilts I've seen with multiple Feathered Stars in them.
i like #2 because it mirrors the triangle point instead of folloing it :)
